As a recommendation let me say that Edna Buchanan's two true crime books about Miami, THE CORPSE HAD A FAMILIAR FACE and NEVER LET THEM SEE YOU CRY, are better than any of her novels (in my humble opinion), even the best of them. I'd highly recommend both of them.
